IMPACTOS DA OBESIDADE NO AMBIENTE HOSPITALAR: O CASO DO ENFERMEIRO

A obesidade é responsável por doenças que podem fazer com que haja o afastamento temporário ou definitivo do trabalhador da instituição hospitalar, podendo levar à perda de produtividade e problemas psicológicos, que acabam impactando nas relações no ambiente de trabalho institucional. Antes de falar do objetivo deveria pontuar que o seu problema e analisar os impactos da obesidade no trabalho do enfermeiro. Assim, o objetivo deste estudo foi elaborar uma cartilha com medidas para minimizar os riscos da obesidade na saúde do enfermeiro. Procurou discutir os efeitos negativos advindos da obesidade do enfermeiro e identificar os efeitos da obesidade nas relações de trabalho do enfermeiro. Foi feita uma revisão integrativa, composta de seis etapas: a busca e seleção das publicações foram: artigos publicados em periódicos científicos nacionais e internacionais, preferencialmente na língua inglesa e espanhola, revisados por pares, que abordassem a temática obesidade no enfermeiro, entre os períodos de 2009 a 2019, ou seja, no período de dez anos. Buscou-se por artigos indexadas em pelo menos uma das bases de dados Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Base de Dados de Enfermagem (BDENF), Medical Literatures Analisys and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE), Elsevier SciVerse Scopus, Elsevier SciVerse Science Direct Jounals , National Library of Medicine (PUBMED) ou ainda, na biblioteca eletrônica Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO), usando os seguintes descritores: Enfermagem; Saúde do trabalhador; ; Jornada de trabalho; Doença crônica; Obesidade; Enfermagem do trabalho;; Enfermeiros; Hospitais públicos; Hospitais universitários; Qualidade de vida; Riscos ocupacionais e Saúde ocupacional. Na análise dos dados constatou-se escassez de programas de promoção de saúde nos locais de trabalho para lidar com o fator de excesso de peso em enfermeiros. Em virtude desses resultados, pode-se pensar em apontar a necessidade de elaboração de políticas públicas que promovam melhores condições de trabalho para os enfermeiros.
