AVALIAÇÃO DA FUNCIONALIDADE E INCAPACIDADE DE IDOSOS COM A ESCALA WHODAS 2.0: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

Este estudo objetivou identificar a utilização do WHODAS 2.0 na avaliação da funcionalidade e incapacidade em idosos. Foi desenvolvida uma revisão sistemática da literatura, orientada a partir do modelo acrônimo PICO. A busca de artigos foi realizada a partir do dia 05 de setembro de 2020 a 30 de outubro de 2020, nas bases de dados Medical Literature Analysis e Retrieval System Online (Medline/PubMed); Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde sobre Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, e da Scientific Eletronic Library Online (BVS/ Lilacs e SciELo). Foram incluídos 20 artigos que preencheram os critérios de elegibilidade. Os estudos transversais contabilizaram 17 artigos. Dois artigos realizaram estudos de coorte prospectiva e um ensaio clínico randomizado. Identificou-se a progressiva e crescente utilização do WHODAS 2.0 com início em 2011 e destacando-se o ano de 2020 com 20% de toda a produção analisada no período. Em sua maioria, os estudos apontam maior escore do WHODAS e maior incapacidade ao longo do envelhecimento, com comprometimento predominante em mulheres. Condições socioeconômicas, escolaridade, comorbidades como depressão e doenças crônicas foram associadas a maiores níveis de incapacidades.
